Organized fun: Is it really Fun?

I believe that if you are reading this then you know my feelings on the subject of organized fun, so frankly I don't want to get all hot and bothered by explaining my feelings on the subject.

(and to all of you who are wondering yes I did just say "hot and bothered")

All these pictures are from the "organized not-so-fun" time. We went to Reed's lake on our "outing". We played football, the human knot, and the human pyramid. Good times right??

this is my little cove. I like to pretend i am the little mermaid with treasures untold and everything. It isn't nearly as cool as hers though..... i will probably live here the rest of the year.... yippy!!!
Beth- you will notice my quilt on the bed, and just to let you know- kelsi's colors are purples and blues too... SO WE MATCH!!! and my "abbey road" postcard is up... in the picture however it isn't straight but I THE SPATULA will fix it!!! hehe get it??

practice makes perfect

I have this shirt- i know you all have seen it. On the front it says "how do you get to carnegie Hall" on the back the punch line says "Practice, Practice"... haha so funny right?
I always wanted to take another shirt and then right the actual directions from here to carnegie hall. now that would be really funny.

So i have never been very good at saying good-bye.... but then agian i have never had to say good-bye to anyone for a really long period of time. But the past 2 weeks i have found myself saying "Good-bye" to everyone i say "hello" to. My friends Have taken up most of my good-byes, but there are always those ppl you see in wal-mart who you haven't seen all summer, and you haven't really talked to at all in the past four years.

This is the dilema though- you are walking around wal-mart and minding your own business and then you find yourself in an aisle with just you and the person you never talk to. You try not to make eye contact because that would oblligate the "Hello!" Well of course you make eye contact, and you have to say the nice "hey how are you?" But it doesn't end there oh no.... nothing can be simple. the questions just keep coming.

"so when do go to school? oh really? well i leave on sunday! where are you going to school again? what are you majoring in? well i got to get going but keep in touch !!! Good Luck at School!! GOOD BYE!! "
I have had that conversation probably 150,000 times with people who i know i will never talk to again...

All these good byes have given me a whole lot of practice- practice makes perfect right?
practice practice... it gets me to carnegie hall right?!

Down to the wire

Two weeks.... that is all i have and i am out of here. It is a strange feeling that everything that i have prepared for in the past 4 years will come to an end in 2 weeks. The preperation period is over and i actually have to start doing what i have prepared to do. It is intimidating really, wondering if i am prepared enough to go to college. (i have said "prepared" a lot in the last few lines) I am not going to over analyze it though, i mean what is the worst that could happen at college- fail out and marry some guy named billy-bob and pop out a few hudred kids, and live in a run down 1 bedroom apartment. How bad is that really... it is all in how you look at it, i could be perfectly happy with that... hehe.
